Welcome

Mission Statement

With Christ at the center of our learning community, our commitment is to develop the growth of students by encouraging them to achieve academically, grow spiritually, think globally, and serve selflessly.

Message From our Pastor

At St. Mary of the Assumption School (SMA) we are committed to teaching children in a Catholic environment. We are dedicated to providing a climate, in which students may realize their God-given spiritual, intellectual, and personal capabilities. Our aim is to help students develop the ability to be self-motivated and to make sound judgments, as well as children whose lives will be lived in conformity with the teaching of Christ and the ideals of family life. We strive to foster children who are prepared to meet the physical, economic, social, and cultural demands of our society.  We recognize that parents are the natural educators of their children. Thus, we work in partnership with parents to promote consistency between the values taught in school and those developed in the home. We are aware of the uniqueness of each child, therefore we attempt to provide a teaching climate in which each child can achieve success.

Message From our Principal

It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome you to visit St. Mary of the Assumption School (SMA), where we offer a rigorous academic program designed to prepare students for success . Our program challenges students academically while fostering a love for learning.  Guided by our dedicated teachers, students develop strong foundational skills and build critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Through intentional instruction and a supportive environment, SMA equips students with the confidence and academic abilities needed to thrive in high school, college, and beyond.

Beyond academic excellence, we focus on faith formation to nurture the whole child. Through daily prayer and religious instruction, we guide our students in deepening their relationship with God. We aim to form kind, thoughtful, and compassionate students who, guided by faith, will make a meaningful difference in the world.

We firmly believe that education is a partnership between school and home, and that great things happen when we work together with a shared vision for excellence. Come visit our school and see for yourself what makes SMA the top choice for families seeking a high quality education.
